A day in the life: Maggie Hodges, Marketing Strategist

Name: Maggie Hodges

What is your title? Marketing Strategist

What does that mean? Finding the best channels to tell a client’s story. It means understanding the service or product and researching, planning and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that keeps them in front of customers and grows their business.

What’s your favorite thing about the Forum culture? That everyone is an expert in their field. Each team member brings a unique skillset to the table. I love being part of a team where we are continually learning from each other while offering our clients full-service solutions.

Are you Type A or Type B? I am as Type A as they come. I love structure, deadlines and details. I also tend to be a perfectionist.

What’s a funny childhood memory? I received the “Question Award” from my summer camp when I was about 10. Almost positive that was a custom-made award that year. I asked a ton of questions pretty much every day. What can I say? I like to know things.

What do you like best about your job? That every day is different! I love being able to transition from writing ad copy one minute to aggregating Google Analytics data the next. It keeps me on my toes.

Would you rather spend five days exploring Disney or New York City? New York City – 100%. I dislike roller coasters (or other adrenaline rushes) and waiting in lines.

Describe yourself in one word. Detailed

What is your motto in life? To be kind. I think it transcends business and personal life perfectly. Being kind can mean so many things – from meeting a deadline to showing yourself more grace.
