What is your title? I am a part-time marketing/account intern.

What does that mean? I’ve been given a great opportunity to contribute what I can to Forum and to learn from this amazing team.  From curating content to marketplace research to print production, I’m getting to see and be part of the communications/marketing process.

What’s your favorite thing about the Forum culture?  While I’m still learning about the massive talent that exists at Forum, I’m enjoying a culture of trust between colleagues.  Everyone knows that each person has gifts and skills unique to them, and they trust that each will use these skills to do their jobs well.  It’s encouraging and professional.

When you aren’t working at Forum, what are you doing? I’m spending time with my family: my husband Preston and our two girls, Ella (13) and Audrey (9).  I also love serving at my church in multiple capacities, including singing in the Sanctuary Choir.  I am a part-time teacher at Lakeview Academy and also a fitness instructor, teaching yoga and strength-training to people in our community.

What social media platform do you use the most? Probably Instagram—lots of fun pictures and less drama

What motto do you live by? “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” -Aesop

What do you like best about your job? I love helping to develop the creative messaging that can portray clients’ missions or visions to enable them to reach the community.  When we can find the right words to get to the heart of who a company is and how it can serve people better, I feel like we’ve played a small role understanding each other a little better and in making our communities stronger.

Tell us about your family. I married my high school sweetheart, and we will celebrate our 18 year wedding anniversary this summer. Our two girls keep us busy, as they enjoy singing in church choir, playing in middle school band, and participating in various theater productions at their school.  Our Boston terrier boys, Murphy and Bo, are a big part of our family circle.  We love having family adventures in town and around northeast Georgia, but our favorite things are family movie and game nights.

Describe yourself in one word. Compassionate
